WHAT IS HOME HEALTH CARE SERVICES?

Home Health Care it refers to the health services rendered in the patient’s door step.  Especially for aging individual, person recovering from surgeries, injury, illness and disability. Health Serve aims to help you to recuperate, regain independence as much as possible.  There is no more cost-effective home health care provider none other than Health Serve Home Health Care.

CAN A HOME CARE NURSE ADMINISTER ANTIBIOTICS THRU IV OR INJECTION?

Yes, a licensed DHA nurse is allowed to administer antibiotics via IV or injection with doctor’s prescription with the validation of our in-house General Practitioner of Health Serve.

IS YOUR NURSES TRAINED FOR EMERGENCY CASES?

Yes, as part of Health Serve recruitment our nurses completed basic life support training. To respond to emergency cases.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FOR THE FIRST HOME VISIT?

Member of our client care team will meet you and your relatives to better understand your needs. We will assess you according to your previous medical history, your home environment so we can customized a care plan for you.

WILL YOU JUST CUSTOMIZED A HOME HEALTH CARE PLAN FOR ME AND MY FAMILY?

Definitely, we can have customized home health care plans depending in our client’s needs and preferences as an individual.

IS YOUR MEDICAL STAFF ARE LICENSED?

Yes, all our staff which includes General Practitioner, Nurses and Physiotherapist are licensed by Dubai Health Authority (DHA)

IS YOUR FACILITY OR COMPANY LICENSED AND CERTIFIED?

Yes, our facility is licensed by DHA ( Dubai Health Authority ) Licensed No: DHA- FL-0064861

IS THERE ADDITIONAL COST FOR TRANSPORTATION?

In our packages that we offer transportation is already included, however in some circumstances depending in the distance or area of the patient we provide additional fees for the transportation. That will be discussed prior to the services rendered.

WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES TO GET HEALTH SERVE, SERVICES?

Initial Assessment will be done by our Licensed Gen Practitioner whereas we will check your medical record, assess the environment in which care will be provided and talk with you about your specific needs so we can tailor a care plan designed for you

WHO IS ELIGBLE FOR HOME HEALTH CARE REIMBURSEMENT?

Home Health Care settings in Dubai, health insurance is not yet been penetrated and it is usually paid out of pocket.

HOW LONG HOME CARE LAST?

There is  no set length  of time for home care, it is based on patients’ needs and preferences. In which in Health Serve, we provide tailored packages from short to long term and in some cases, some patients require lifelong services.

And our in-house Gen. Practitioner will update your attending physician regarding your health process and we at health serve will execute your doctors order.

WHY IS HOME CARE TECHNOLOGY IMPORTANT?

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOME CARE AND PRIVATE NURSE?

Home care typically involves health related services that are delivered to you in your door step and by executing by your attending physicians order to help you for your faster recovery. Private care nurse is another type of homecare.

WHAT SHOULD I CONSIDER WHEN EVALUATING HOME CARE PROVIDER?

Here are some things you may want to consider:

  • Whether the agency is licensed and certified?
  • If the home care staff is licensed by dubai regulatory body, which is Dubai Health Authority and most importantly if all medical staff is under there company visa.
  • If the home care provides continuous education for the medical staff
  • How the company selects their employees which is based on the past experiences.

ARE YOUR SERVICES AVAILABLE 24/7, 7 DAYS PER WEEK?

Yes. Services are available for as little as a few hours a visit up to 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

IS THERE A WRITTEN PLAN OF CARE FOR EACH PATIENT? IS IT MODIFIED AND IF SO, HOW OFTEN?

Health Serve provides an individualize care plan in which is purely confidential for each patient. Our purpose is to meet the patients’ needs and their preferences. Once it is agreed by the patients and its family. Health Serve will provide a nurse, who will deliver the service and execute the care plan.

Plan of care will be reviewed on a monthly basis by our Gen. Practitioner along with the patient and its family. The review will serve as a basis to ensure that patient is receiving the appropriate care that was being provided by Health Serve. It will be modified once it is needed.
